All the university’s facilities are concentrated together on the one square kilometre of the former Heyendael estate: the lecture rooms and research labs, the University Hospital, the libraries, offices, the accommodation for student organizations, the sports centre, the guesthouse and a book shop. All facilities are on campus. International students are entitled to make use of the same facilities on campus as Dutch students and staff. Radboud University challenges its students to actively participate in the academic community and trains them to be critical and committed academics, with their own views regarding scholarship and society, who will take up responsible positions in a society which is becoming increasingly internationalised. We offer students an inspiring, pleasant and safe work and study environment. It offers its students an education in optimal (academic) surroundings that contribute directly to their formative development as academics and highly trained professionals. Our teaching thrives on international exchanges of students. The services we provide are designed to make our international students feel welcome and at home in our academic community. Our international campus reinforces the community spirit and provides facilities for students and top researchers from all over the world. For the last 90 years, the university has been building up contacts with partner institutions. Our network now comprises hundreds of universities from every corner of the globe. All international Master’s students who come to Nijmegen for an English-taught Master’s degree programme will be guaranteed housing, provided their request for admission to the Master's programme was received before the deadline for the service package, and the International Office has received the letter of acceptance from Student Affairs.
