Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences is one of the best specialized universities in Poland and combines 70 years of tradition with modernity and innovation. The University guarantees students an intellectual adventure and passion for the development of non-scientific interests, whilst also providing students with a solid education and skills valued in the international job market. Educationally, Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences focuses both on the natural and the technical. It educates students and conducts research in the fields of agricultural sciences, biological and veterinary geodesy and cartography, environmental protection and management, as well as food technology and nutrition. Three university faculties have the status of the National Centre for Scientific Lead (KNOW) in the field of agricultural sciences in Poland.

Other courses at the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences include: Veterinary Medicine and Principles for Tropical Agriculture, and  our institution also offers studies of specializations in geoinformatics (surveying and mapping), landscape architecture (Chinese and Polish tradition in shaping of the landscape), Biology Laboratory Techniques majoring in biology and Horticultural Production, Green Areas Shaping (majoring in horticulture) and Food Technology and Human Nutrition in food sciences.

The University has performed well in the rankings as a result of its; high acedmic standards, the achievements of the University's faculty staff, the quality of the research, the university's library and computing systems, and the verification of knowledge. In total the University is home to 11,000 full and part-time students and it offers a wide range of degree courses in agriculture and related areas. We provide accommodation in 5 student halls of residences for 1,800 students.
