Study at MUL!

The Medical University of Lodz (MUL) is one of the largest state-owned medical universities and leading research centres in Poland. We offer the following programmes wholly taught in English; 6-year MD programme (requires high school certificate); 5 DMD programme (requires high school certificate); 4-year MD programme (completion of pre-medical program minimum at the level of BSc degree); 3-year B.Sc. Nursing programme (requires high school certificate); 4-year PhD programme (requires MD or MSc diploma).

Our programmes meet international standards and thanks to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) our students can be fully mobile, and continue their education in other countries. The MUL diploma is recognized by the Medical Council in Canada, by the US Department of Education, and the ECFMG as well as in European Union countries. Moreover, NBME exams help to prepare our international students to pass USMLE exams in the USA.

We have gradually modified and widened the type and range of educational courses on offer at our institution, and our university continues to attract high calibre students from Poland as well as many international students. Medical teaching in English was initiated in 2003/2004. Currently 500 foreign students from various countries (USA, Canada, Norway, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain, Nigeria, Germany, Malaysia, India, Ireland, France and others) attend medical and dental programs taught entirely in English.
