SZE has 9 faculties with 67 departments, employing 700 lecturers. More than 12,000 students are registered at the University, including 400 international students. From 2019/2020 there will be a choice of 22 English-taught full degree programmes (Bachelors/Masters/PhD) and two postgraduate programmes in Law and Governance. 
SZE students receive a high-level, professional and practical education to enable them to adapt to a highly competitive employment market. A significant number of multinational companies (Audi, Bosch, Flextronics, Grundfos, IBM) regularly hire our graduates. 95% of alumni find employment within six months of graduating. 
A unique aspect of SZE is the collaboration of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering with the Audi Hungaria Company, the largest engine manufacturer in the world (annual production of 2,000,000 vehicle engines) and employer of over 12,000 people in Győr. 50% of Audi Hungaria’s engineers are graduates of this University. The Dean of the Audi Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Dr Barna Hanula, is the inventor of the Bugatti Veyron engine. He has created and implemented new technologies world-wide. One current area of research in the Faculty is autonomous vehicles.
