Humanitas University is an international university dedicated to the life sciences in Milan (IT). Education and training are fully integrated with the Scientific Research Center and the Humanitas Hospital, one of the most innovative hospitals in Europe. Today Humanitas University hosts 2000 among undergraduate and postgraduate students (40% of students are non-italian). We offer 2 international undergraduate courses:
- MD in Medicine and Surgery (6-year degree course, entirely run in English) – 180 students per year;
- MEDTEC School (6-year degree course in Medicine and Biomedical Engineering, entirely run in English) – 70 students per year.

The 6-year degree course in Medicine and Surgery is entirely taught in English. Students can meet up with fellow undergraduates from over 20 countries worldwide. From the first year, theoretical interdisciplinary modules are integrated with hands-on experience and simulation activities, with clerkships commencing in the 3rd year. Future doctors can also benefit from a study period abroad, by means of travel grants and the Erasmus programme. The six-year year degree programme in MEDTEC, taught in English, is organised by Humanitas University in partnership with Politecnico di Milano. The programme strongly focuses on enhancing the medical skills of a doctor through the integration and acquisition of the basic competences and approaches relevant to Biomedical Engineering. The degree programme aims to train professionals who will be able to apply medical and technological know-how as a means of providing innovative and quality medicine. Hunimed students are carefully assisted from the very first step of the admission process up to their last day of university: mentorship programme, counseling service and tutoring programme are some of the services offered by Humanitas University. Moreover, Humanitas University aims to prepare students to face the challenging reality of a European society that, while still strongly anchored to its traditions, is undergoing the process of globalization.
