We believe in people who value self-development and want to make their dreams come true. They give us motivation for continuous improvement so that we could offer education and research on the highest level.
Over 15 000 students are enrolled in interdisciplinary degree programs. We offer full-time and extramural undergraduate and graduate programs in Psychology, Modern Languages, Cultural Studies, Journalism and Social Communication, Sociology, Law, Internal Security, International Relations, Management and Design. SWPS is the only private university in Poland that has been granted the right to award post-doctoral degrees in Psychology and Cultural Studies and PhD degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Cultural Studies and Law. Our offer includes also a wide range of non-degree programs such as weekend trainings and numerous tailor-made training schemes. We organize cycles of scientific and cultural events that are open to the public. Our institution values considerable debates and fruitful discussions, and this is why we often host world-recognized scientists, well-known artists and representatives of the mass media. Those who want to master their language competence are more than welcome to join English Preparatory School and Polish Preparatory School, the programs that give them an opportunity to improve their English and Polish under the supervision of highly qualified teachers. Our courses are a combination of in-class activities and self-study. Newly acquired portions of knowledge can be practiced via the university's modern e-learning platform. One of our main goals is constant internationalization of the university. Every year, we receive students from all over the world, who come either individually, or within exchange programs. SWPS participates on a large scale in international exchange programs such as Erasmus Plus, Atlantis and Santander Universidades and it has an extensive cooperation with universities in China, Vietnam and Kazakhstan. Also, students can spend a semester or two at the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY. Multiple options of studying abroad give them an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience and to become aware of and tolerant to cultural diversity. SWPS has been considered the best non-public university offering Psychology. Once again, among the two leading educational centers in Poland, Warsaw University and Jagiellonian University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities opens the list of the best universities in Poland, both public and non-public, that offer Psychology Studies. We have been placed in the top ten of the universities offering programs of study in the field of Languages. Our rich educational offer and perfect academic staff have once more confirmed our strong position and high quality of teaching.
