Kristianstad University (HKR) is an international, progressive and open-minded university. We keep a close relationship between teaching staff and students, and integrate studies with a large proportion of practical work. Situated in the southern part of Sweden, Kristianstad is a beautiful city with easy access to larger cities and mainland Europe founded in 1977. Our university provides education in Educational Sciences, Natural, Social and Environmental Sciences, Food, Health, and Nursing Care, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work, Computer Sciences, Design, and Engineering, Economics and Human Resources. HKR offers several study programs and a wide range of courses taught in English. We offer several bachelor and master programs taught in English. Bachelor programs in: • Computer Science and Engineering, Specialization in Embedded Systems (180 credits) • Computer Science and Engineering, Specialization in Embedded Systems (195 credits) • Software Development (180 credits) • English: Language, Literature and Society (180 credits) Master programs in: • Sustainable Water Management • Business Administration • Computer Science, Specialization in Embedded Systems • Integrative Health Science Kristianstad University welcomes students from diverse backgrounds; domestic students from all around Sweden as well as international students from all over the world. Today there are about 14,000 students at the campus, situated just 10 minutes from the town center. Our campus is created from the idea that as a student, you will have access to modern information technology, inspiring meeting places and good services. Moreover, students have access to the buildings on the campus 24/7 what gives them not only an opportunity to concentrate on their studies but also a chance to work on their projects, thesis, or homework whenever they want to.
