When it comes to fashion, Europe’s capital cities each have their own individual style - London with it's cool street trends that have made the city memorable since the 1960s, Paris, the soul of haute couture, glamourous Rome where fashion in all forms is one of Italy's biggest industries and Berlin, where elegance is the key and where Jil Sander is the “Empress of Less”. With such uniquely fashionable capital's it's little wonder that Europe is one of the world's best regions to study Fashion and Textiles and it is home to several internatioally recognised educational institutes. Ranked highly by the QS World University Rankings, Italy's Istituto Marangoni for example is split into three campuses - its primary campus based in Milan and the other two located in London and Paris. The school, home to 2,000 students across all three campuses, offers courses in fashion design, fashion business, fashion buying, brand management and fashion promotion. The London College of Fashion also has a strong international reputation for offering a wide range of high quality and innovative fashion courses. EHEVF India and South Asia 2016 participant The Politecnico di Milano in Italy, also has a high QS ranking and offers an undergraduate programme in fashion design and a master’s programme in ‘Design for the Fashion System’.
